Operational Support
To minimize operational risk, SVPCO regularly tests, as part of its business recovery plan, the capability to move daily settlement operations from New York City office to the Chicago office. Daily settlement operations are performed at the Chicago office one day per month to ensure peak emergency operating capability.

SVPCO Check Services recognizes that the transition to electronic payments is gradually eliminating the role of check clearing services. Just as your organization has observed a steep decline in checks processed, SVPCO has also been closely monitoring this trend throughout our processing regions. As check volumes continue to decline, SVPCO will continue to work with the SVPCO Business Committee, and the Regional Committees, in efforts to develop a check services action plan designed to accommodate the needs of our longstanding customer FIs.
