What is the SVPCO Image Payments Network?
The SVPCO Image Payments Network is an industry utility for financial institutions of all sizes. It provides unparalleled control, security and processing efficiency for transmitting and settling check images and other data directly between institutions in the industry.

How does the network work?
The SVPCO Image Payments Network conducts image exchanges and settlement through SVPCO’s Distributed Traffic Agent (DTA). The DTA enables financial institutions to transmit check images directly to each other cost-effectively.

What differentiates the SVPCO Image Payments Network from other service providers?
The SVPCO network is the only one that offers integrated, automated settlement. This reduces risk by eliminating system hand offs. Financial institutions can also view their net debit or credit position online at any time.

What is Automated Settlement?
Automated Settlement is one of the unique features of SVPCO Image Payments Network. Users of the system automatically have their accounts settled via the Federal Reserve Bank.

What are my connectivity options?

The Image Payments Network offers financial institutions a variety of connectivity options.
Institutions can connect to the network directly via the SVPCO Gateway DTA, a Standard DTA, through a correspondent bank, or by using a third party service provider.

What is the Gateway DTA?
The Gateway DTA is a cost-effective solution designed for institutions with smaller volumes or who are interested in gradually ramping up their image processing capabilities. The Gateway DTA is also for those FIs that cannot justify the investment in a direct connection because of low volumes or for those that do not wish to connect to SVPCO through the services of a Correspondent Bank, Third Party Processor or the Federal Reserve.

What is the Standard DTA (Distributed Traffic Agent)?
The Standard DTA enables financial institutions with larger volumes to transmit check images directly to each other.

What is a Correspondent Bank?
A Correspondent Bank or a Third Party Provider is an alternative to the Direct or Gateway connectivity option to the SVPCO Image Payments Network.

If I am a small Financial Institution is the SVPCO Image Payments Network for me?
As an industry utility, SVPCO ensures that the Image Payments Network can connect to all endpoints to meets the needs of financial institutions of all sizes.
